Expert Talk on “Career in Financial Sector" at GLBIMR
Guest Speaker: Dr Satish Kumar
GLBIMR, In its continuous endeavour to give 360 degree holistic development to its PGDM Students, organized an Expert Talk on “Career in Financial Sector” on July 21, 2016. The Guest Speaker Dr. Satish Kumar, Faculty - Finance, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur carries 19 years of rich academic experience and has been associated with elite Institutes like Indian Institute of Technology, Kota and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee.
During the session Dr. Satish Kumar emphasized that Banking and Finance industry is multifaceted, offering a variety of positions catering to different skills and interests. Financial services have multiple sub-industries encompassing niche opportunities. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR shared that the “Expert Talk” gave PGDM students an insight on the changing dynamics of Industry and will surely improve awareness about opportunities in Financial Sector apart from their subject knowledge.
