Reorientation Program & SIP Knowledge Sharing Session of PGDM Batch 2018-20 @ GLBIMR on July 17, 2019

With continued focus on academic excellence, GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida organized a Re-Orientation Program & SIP Knowledge Sharing Session on July 17, 2019 for PGDM Batch 2018-20.This unique initiative was taken under the visionary guidance of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR.

Dr. Ajay Kumar welcomed PGDM Batch 2018-20 after 2 months of Summer Internship Project completion in reputed companies. He shared that the basic purpose of organizing this program was to re-acclimatized students to the academic offerings post their Summer Internship. He also shared that this unique platform is provided to the students to share their learning experiences during the Summer Internship Program. He explained the importance of classroom teaching and reinforced that they should imbibe the learnings of Summer Internship Program as it will help them in grabbing excellent placements. During the Reorientation Program, students were given insights about the Academic Activities planned during Academic Year 2019-20, along with a detailed outline of the best-in-the-class Course Curriculum being offered in HR, Marketing and Finance Domain with additional Value Added Courses, Management Development Programs, Club Activities & the upcoming research oriented Dissertation. In an enriching SIP Knowledge sharing session, students shared their Summer Internship learning experiences like how to deliver sales pitch, formulate marketing and competition strategies and learn on the fly while organizing various campaigns and rewards & recognition programs for the respective companies. Students highlighted that during their internship they learnt how to grasp new opportunities and how to fight the challenges at the ground level.

It is with great pride that GLBIMR shares that 36 PGDM students have received appreciation letter from their respective organizations; they were facilitated with Appreciation Certificates. Students shared their SIP experiences with great pride & honour. The session has been a moral booster for the final year students who will soon be participating in the excellent placement offerings at GLBIMR.
