Every year senior students organizes welcome party named Samanvay for newcomers. Traditionally, 3rd September’ 2009 marked a memorable day for entire fraternity of GLBIMR. On this day, the entire family of GLBIMR rejoiced on the occasion of Foundation day which was followed by the Freshers’ Party. The entire programme was organized by the students of the 2008-2010 batch.
As part of the celebration, the ceremony started with an auspicious worship of God Hanuman (Sunderkand Path) in the lush green lawn of the campus.
GLBIMR threw a rocking bash for freshers in the auditorium and marked this occasion with a great Fresher Welcome “Moon Walk”.
The new batch was given a warm welcome with an evening of great fun, music, and dance. This was the most enjoyable event and there was lots of space and a decidedly non-slip floor making it ideal in many ways with a great atmosphere. There was music, there was dancing, there was laughter.
Senior students were honoured for their commendable work done in their respective summer projects and praiseworthy performance in their third trimester for which they were given trophies and cash prizes.
