G. L. Bajaj Institute of Management & Research hosted a seven day ab-initio training programme for the Future Group.
The training programme was aptly termed as “Prarambh – Gen Next.”
The programme schedule was specially designed for 180 new recruits of Future Group who would be intrinsically responsible for launch of new venture of Future Group namely Big Bazar, Gen-Next.
The launch is for a hi-tech shopping mall introducing various top end technically supported facilities to provide new experience to shoppers. The programme was inaugurated on 30th of November, 2015 by Director General, Prof. Shekhar Ghose, Mr. Vinay Kumar, Business Development Manager and Mr. Vikash Kumar, Store Manager of the new venture.
This training session was divided into different modules covering areas like retail sector, customer service, grooming and retail products, visual merchandising, selling with GUSTO, standard operating procedures etc.. The pedagogy included class room sessions, power-point presentations, video clips, vocabulary building and active discussion amongst trainers and participants.
The concluding sessions had Mr. Sadashiv Nayak, CEO, Ms. Nivedita Nanda and Ms. Nidhi Chaddha, Training Manager of Future Retail Ltd. G. L. Bajaj Institute of Management & Research and the Future Group successfully carried out this new endeavour and ensured long standing mutual partnership and relationship.
