In its constant endeavor to disseminate intellectual knowledge and provide platform for industry and academia to work for the holistic development of management professionals, GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida organized 11th Management Development Program (MDP) on “Digital and Social Media Marketing: Accelerating Customer Acquisition and Engagement” on Saturday, September 29, 2018 under the aegis of Mr. Pankaj Agrawal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Institutions and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR. The event witnessed participation of more than 200 delegates from various universities, institutes and academia.

Dr. Makkar in her address welcomed the guests and highlighted that this program will help to gain an understanding of the digital marketing platforms and opportunities available for the marketers and to provide hands-on learning of Social Media Marketing plan formulation, implantation and control. Mr. Gaurav Singhal shared that Digital Marketing has become one of the most crucial components of any business to expand and flourish in today’s world. He encouraged professionals to face challenges of the corporate world with confidence and urged them to have practical approach to learn digital marketing strategy through this interactive session. Mr. Amit Dubey highlighted that learning the core principles of digital marketing will unravel new possibilities for the participants with the continuous developments in digital marketing being rapidly embraced by corporations. He further provided participants with valuable insight into various constituents of financial implication of the digital marketing strategy for its incorporation into the comprehensive marketing strategy. He also shared that this MDP will act as catalyst in the conversion of challenges into opportunities.
