National Women's Day 2020

National Women's Day of India is observed on February 13 every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sarojini Naidu, India's First Women Governor. She was born on February 13, 1879 and died on March 2, 1949.

Her birthday has been selected to be observed as National Women's Day in recognition of the works done by her for the upliftment and development of the women in India.

“Let’s celebrate the power of women as she is one of the strongest pillars of the society and bears the responsibility to take forward the existence of mankind in a smoother way.”
