Highlights of Day II (Session-2) of Induction Program 2018
Continuing the vibrance of Induction Program 2018, the session 2 of Day 2 (July 10, 2018) has been intensive, vigorous, highly energetic, profoundly informative & immensely interactive. The post-lunch session of induction program began with an invigorating analogy by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR of thirst for knowledge compared to the gasp of breath as foretold by the legendry Socrates. The second day witnessed the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Vishal Sehgal, MD & CEO, Nischay Educorp, Key Note Speaker Ms. Avika Kapoor, Vice President - Operation, Kapgrow Corporate Advisory Services Pvt Ltd and Guest of Honor namely Mr. Shailendra Dixit, Director, Infamous Boyz Private Limited, Mr. T K Arunachalam, Regional Director - South Asia at Cambridge English & Mr. Ashish Saxena, Director Global Operations at Agilent Technologies who shared their success stories and stressed on importance of inquisitiveness to question the status quo.
Dr. Urvashi Makkar appreciated students for their discipline and participation during attending the session. She guided the students about the purpose of induction program to arouse inquisitiveness and enhance their thirst and hunger for learning. She also encouraged students to be a change agents and catalysts for the growth and development of the society. Mr. Shailendra Dixit shared his views on lack of employability skills in the corporate culture. He further advised students to continuously nurture themselves and keep rescaling in order to survive in the corporate world. Further to this, Mr. TK Arunachalan encouraged the students to explore every opportunity to climb the corporate ladder. Mr. Ashish Saxena focused on adapting the right skill and attitude to sustain in the corporate world. Ms. Avika Kapoor urged students to work on their aptitude as it is the prime focus for any organization while hiring fresher. Mr. Vishal Sehgal advised students to take up new challenges every day which as these will be stepping stones to success in the dynamic corporate world.
The curiosity of the students poured in the form of varied array of questions that were appropriately answered by all the panel members & Dr. Urvashi Makkar. While the day ended with much passion & content, enthusiasm could be seen in its peak amongst the students.
