Two Days Certification Programme on “Digital Marketing” by MSME @ GLBIMR on September 18 & 19, 2018
Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and the aegis of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR organized Two Days Certification Programme on “Digital Marketing” by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) on September 18 & 19, 2018 with the objective to bestow professional skills & attributes to the students which will intensify their overall development & make them corporate ready.
Digital Marketing has become one of the most essential elements of any enterprise to expand and flourish in today’s world. Therefore, the Certification Programme included the concepts of strategies in Digital marketing, SEM, PPC Campaign, Display Advertising, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Ad sense etc as a part of its module which provided learning opportunities to the PGDM students for its implementation on various Social Media platforms. Dr. Urvashi Makkar during her interaction with students she emphasized the significance of Digital Marketing Certification with aplomb using live examples from Digital Marketing Campaigns & Corporate war of e-commerce players in India. She also motivated the students and shared that “the world is no more just Global, it is Digital now and it is an era of digital war which is going on”. The Guest speaker for the session was Mr. Abhishek Mukherjee, founder of Knowledge Talk. The resource person was Ms. Bhawana Bhardwaj, founder ofdigitalmarketingc.com and a renowned corporate trainer for Digital Marketing. She provided participants with fundamental tools and learning to the PGDM students. The pedagogy also covered the optimal combination of simulation exercises and real-time case studies to make the Certification more interactive.
The program provided an exuberant platform to the students where they learned the intricacies of Digital Marketing. This Certification encouraged the students to learn the core principles of digital marketing from the grassroots level, which will further uncover new opportunities for them as the continuous unfolding of digital marketing and rapid embracement of corporations are generating new employment and career opportunities for students worldwide.
