Special Talk on “Current Global Issues in Management of Technology, Innovation & Change” on October 13, 2018 @ GLBIMR

To continue the legacy of providing corporate exposure to its students, GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR) organized a Special Talk on “Current Global Issues in Management of Technology, Innovation & Change” by global expert- Mr. Ashish Patel, Managing Director, MorganFranklin Consulting, USA and Dr. Sanjiva Shanker Dubey, Professor, Author of Nine Management Books, IT Strategist and Turn Around Specialist on October 13, 2018. This initiative was taken under the patronage of Mr. Pankaj Agrawal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and strategic acumen of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR.

The interactive session was organized during Global Talk Series on “Management of Technology, Innovation & Change - 30 Hours Course Module” from October 06-13, 2018. The subject MTIC, with 3 Course Credits & 30 Hours of duration, is amongst the unique offerings of the institute, benchmarking our curriculum with best of the Business Schools in India.

To mark the commencement, ceremonial lamp was lighted by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR along with the distinguished guests, students, faculty and staff members. Dr. Makkar welcomed the guests and shared that the special session will benefit the students to provide a foundation for understanding management of technology, innovation and change in the context of the dynamic business environment of the present era. She also highlighted that change and innovation have become indispensable aspects for every organization that yearns to survive long-term in the market.

Dr. Sanjiva Shanker Dubey ensured the participants lucidly comprehend the key attributes of innovation & transformation in the jobs due to globalization. He motivated students to prepare themselves for prospective positions and should converge on the areas that will intensify their abilities. Mr. Ashish Patel also motivated the students by briefing about the modernized technology and current innovations in the Industries. It was an extensively interactive session with the focus upon experiential learning to help GLBIMR-ians achieve greater success at both professional & personal front. It was a great learning experience thoroughly relished by the students.
