GLBIMR students Participated in 9th Women Entrepreneurs Conference on “Define Your Roadmap- Innovate, Create, Celebrate” by DMA

GLBIMR students under the guidance of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, are provided various platforms to learn & acquire exposure of the business world; Corporate Interface Series (CIS) is one of the most successful corroboration of the same. Entrepreneurship is key for the Indian economy and the journey as an entrepreneur is exciting yet challenging that encourages budding entrepreneurs to realize their full potential. GLBIMR, On Friday, 22nd February, 2019 nominated 17 students of PGDM Batch (2018-20) to participate in 9th Women Entrepreneurs Conference on ”Define Your Roadmap- Innovate, Create, Celebrate” by DMA at The Hotel Park. Conference was a platform to share ideas, knowledge, challenges, learn from experts and brainstorm, while listening to global trends and innovations. Conference focused on Building and leveraging your Ecosystem Networking, Building Financial Capability & Financial feasibility, New Business Models that are emerging, Changing face of Entrepreneurship, Technological disruptions that are shaping the future of work and Stories from the field – Challenges, Successes and Celebrations.

This conference was an excellent platform to listen to the experts to understand the different dimensions of “Women Entrepreneurship, Government Policies – Facilitating Women Entrepreneurs and Support Mechanisms Facilitating Entrepreneurship”. The speakers elaborated on issues and challenges, modalities of Funding and Investments and real life stories from successful entrepreneurs – their challenges and how they overcame them. The experts also displayed the strategies and business model that should be adopted by Entrepreneurs for their successful ventures.

The event was an enriching experience for the students and for the faculty.
