The mega marquee annual multinational WEF 2019 was held from April 11th to 16th April, 2019 in New Delhi on the theme is “Re-imagining Societies: Reclaiming Humanity With Gender Equality”. It attracted over 2000 women from 120+ countries making it the largest ever diverse global event.
At the Women Economic Forum, our students and faculty members met women entrepreneurs, leaders and businesswomen from across the world as also with industrialists, financiers, advisors, consultants, bankers, government and ministerial officials, diplomats, lawyers, and experts who advised, connected and directed them further for their future career expansion, trade, business, innovation and growth.
We are very proud to share that our Director General Dr. Urvashi Makkar was invited as one of the eminent speakers at the WEF 2019 where she shared her views of Gender Neutrality and importance of learning-relearning-learning. She was also conferred with the highly prestigious award, “Exceptional Women of Excellence” in the forum. It was highly engaging platform for faculty and students. the main sessions on all the days were focused on increasing transparency and enhancing customer expectations, secrets of motivated teams, reclaiming progress with sustainability, developing entrepreneurship abilities, personal and spiritual development along with instilling spark among youth.
It was a very knowledgeable session which helped our students in understanding the innovation and social initiatives taken by the speakers in their respective domain. How even a small change or idea can bring difference to the society at large. The students networked and got connected with the delegates for their future career expansion and growth. It was a highly engaging experience under the CIS Platform.
