Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Pedagogical Issues in Teaching” @ GLBIMR on March 30, 2019
GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida (GLBIMR) organized Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Pedagogical Issues in Teaching” on March 30, 2019 under the prudent guidance of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and stewardship of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR with the objective to enable the faculty members in identifying and applying the right techniques to improve classroom effectiveness and students' engagement through case study analysis approach.
The Expert Resource Person for this FDP was Dr. Ernst von Kimakowitz, Faculty in Leadership Skills at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland , Director and co-founder of the Humanistic Management Center, Switzerland. He holds a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics (LSE), London, UK and has also studied at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, in Mainz, Germany and the Universidad de los Andes, Merida, Venezuela.
Dr. Urvashi Makkar shared that for the holistic development of an academician, research & analysis of business cases is a never-ending practice and the GLBIMR Fraternity has always been committed towards academic excellence & innovative pedagogy through the case-based approach to management education. Dr. Ernst von Kimakowitz conducted hands-on learning sessions to equip the faculty members with effective class handling techniques.
