GLBIMR students participated in CIS Visit to the “Taal Thok ke” a debate on “KASHMIR MEIN TIRANGA” on August 5, 2019 at Zee News Studio.
Continuing with the initiatives to develop the students holistically, as guided by the visionary leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr.Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR students Participated in “Taal Thok ke” a debate on “KASHMIR MEIN TIRANGA” organized August 5, 2019 at Zee News Studio.
Eminent Social Activists and Indian Legal Scholar like Mr. R.V.S. Mani, P.K. Mishra, Maj. Gen. A.K. Siwach and Advocate Monika Arora were present and debating along with two Kashmiri speakers. Also present among the high profile guests were Mr. Gaurav Bhatia and Mr. Sambit Patra, Spokesperson, Bharatiya Janata Party. All were seems happy with scrapping of Article 370. Speakers added that 15 August is the Independence Day for India; whereas 5 August will be Independence Day for Jammu & Kashmir. The debate turned into a heated argument many a times during the session because of the gravity of the case. Mr. Vivek Agnihotri, an Indian film director also gave his inputs, live from his residence.
Students were given ample opportunity to interact and ask questions from Panelists of repute and also to give their opinions, during the debate. Along with exceptional analytical and debating skills of the eminent personalities, the event was a great exposure for students to understand putting up their opinion about a topic.
It was a very highly engaging and learning experience under the CIS Platform.
