Virtual Induction Program - 2020 (Day-1: Session 1 & 2)

G.L. Bajaj Institute of Management & Research. PGDM Institute, Greater Noida organized Virtual Induction Program - 2020 on “Corporate Expectations & Insights for Aspiring Managers Post COVID-19” on Monday, September 7, 2020 for the students of PGDM Batch 2020-22 under the patronage of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and in the insightful headship of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR.

Session 1 began with the welcome of new students. The introductory address was delivered by Ms. Radhika Malhotra, Assistant Professor, GLBIMR. A dance video was presented to welcome the students of PGDM Batch 2020-22. After that, a virtual 360 degree campus tour was shown to the students to provide them a glimpse of the campus life and its state-of-the-art infrastructure which included the PGDM building, classrooms, cafeteria, etc. A presentation was also shared with them which displayed glorious Awards and Achievements of GLBIMR. The Vision, Mission and Values of GLBIMR were also shared with the students. Then, a brief introduction about our Respected Chairman Sir, Vice Chairman Sir and Director Sir was also given to the newly admitted students.

Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR wholeheartedly welcomed the students and discussed about the Covid-19 era and the challenges that everyone has been facing due to this pandemic. He guided the students to start their new journey on a positive note and suggested them to have trust and faith in themselves as well as the institute. He also assured them that the institute would not leave any stone unturned to provide them a safe environment and wished them good luck for their bright future.

Later on, Mr. Atul Kumar Arora, Associate Professor, GLBIMR marked the attendance for all the students who were present in the program.

Session 2 was an interactive meeting between Respected Director Sir and the parents of the students. During this session, Director Sir interacted with the parents and assured them of all the support that their children would require in their academic journey at GLBIMR.

The program aimed to provide right direction to the young minds and enlightened them about how to focus their energies during the PGDM program. Overall, it was a highly engaging session.
