Students (PGDM Batch 2019-21) of G.L. Bajaj Institute of Management & Research. PGDM Institute, Greater Noida celebrated “Neev-2020: Teacher's Day Celebration” on Saturday, September 05, 2020 under the patronage of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and in the insightful headship of Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR.

The session started with an invocation to Goddess Saraswati. The students planted saplings in their respective surroundings as a mark of respect for Hon’ble Director Sir. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR shared that due to this pandemic everyone has been living a different life. He stated that a Teacher (Guru) works rigorously to understand the mindset of the students and work towards their progress and development. He also conveyed his best wishes and blessings to the students and wished them a great career and a successful life ahead.

The program started with the welcome dance aesthetically presented by Ms. Soni Kumari. The students presented Gifts in the form of “Titles” to Respected Vice Chairman Sir, Director Sir, all faculty and staff members. They also organized various games such as guess the movies and songs through emoticons and brands through their logos. Mr. Ashish Kumar, student of PGDM Batch 2019-21 recited a well-written and beautiful poem for all. Ms. Bhoomika Saxena presented a mesmerizing dance performance. A video was also shown which displayed some memorable moments of faculty members and students. The cultural programs organized by the students really added vibrant colors to the whole event. Later on, Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to the winners of the “Game Zone” organized by the students.

This day was celebrated as a mark of tribute to acknowledge the contributions made by teachers towards the society. Before concluding the event, the students thanked the faculty members for their unending efforts in enhancing their skill sets. Overall, it was a highly entertaining program wonderfully organized by the students.
