GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research. PGDM Institute, Greater Noida organized Webinar on "Digital Content - Marketing & Making Brand Worldwide" on Monday, November 23, 2020 for the students of PGDM Batch 2019-21 & 2020-22 under the patronage of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions. The Expert Speakers of the session were Ms. Neha Bahl, Media & Brand Communication Expert, Qube Communication and Ms. Vanshika Mehta, Branding & Storytelling Consultant to Startups and SMB’s.
The session started with an invocation to Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR welcomed the guests and emphasized on the importance of digital content nowadays. He also added that for growth, companies must keep in mind their customer requirements and develop the content in a customized manner. He further elaborated that top brands dominated the web through their content orientation.
During the session, Ms. Vanshika Mehta shared that content had different forms and it required great efforts and time to develop quality content. She emphasized on the availability of resources and budget for content creation. She explained the process of content development through the pyramid model which had different stages such as TOFU: Awareness Stage, MOFU: Consideration Stage, BOFU: Decision Stage and POST Consideration. She also discussed how top Indian brands like Zomato, Amul, etc primarily focused on content. She also shared the example of ‘Baba ka Dhaba’ and elaborated how it benefited in no time and also got listed on Zomato due to the way the content was presented to the audience.
Ms. Neha Bahl shared that as the schools were closed due to the pandemic, online educational portals like BYJU’S, Vedantu and WhiteHat Jr had done really well through their digital contents and had managed to reach wider audience. She further suggested that lifestyle brands need to be on their toes in terms of graphics and also emphasized on video marketing as it helps to grab more attention of the target audience.
This webinar provided the students a better understanding about the opportunities in Digital Content domain for Marketing and Brand Building.
