Marketing Club activity on “Innovative Product Design Challenge for COVID Times”

Marketing Club of GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research. PGDM Institute, Greater Noida organized an activity on “Innovative Product Design Challenge for COVID Times” on Friday, November 20, 2020 for the students of PGDM Batch 2020-22 under the patronage of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions.

The session started with an invocation to Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR wished the participants and emphasized on the importance and value of innovation in today’s tough times of Covid-19. He also explained the true meaning of ‘Maverick’ and encouraged the students to stick to their own independent opinions and not to behave or think like everyone else.

The judges for the activity were Ms. Palak Srivastava and Dr. Uma Luthra, faculty members of GLBIMR.

A total of 6 teams participated in the activity in which the students presented their new ideas for innovative products designed especially for Covid-19 times. They also explained how their products would prove beneficial during these times of pandemic.

Later on, the teams were evaluated by the judges on the basis of the questions asked from them.

This activity exposed the students to the challenges in product design and its marketing.
