Delegates from across the Globe attended the 2nd International Conference, (ICASSA2k17) at GLBIMR

Under the insightful guidance of Mr. Pankaj Agrawal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and cultivated acumen of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR ; The 2nd International Conference on "Achieving Sustainable Strategic Advantage” (ICASSA-2k17), on Saturday, September 09, 2017 at its Greater Noida campus, where around 400 International & National delegates participated. The mega event was inaugurated by Mr. Pankaj Agrawal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Institutions, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR along with His Excellency, Alem Tsehaye Woldemariam, Ambassador, Embassy of the State of Eritrea, Mr. Ashish Patel, Managing Director, Morgan Franklin Consulting, USA, Mr. Dilip Raj, VP & Senior Managing Partner, Max Life Insurance Ltd, Mr. Siddharth Talwar, Master Chef, Mr. Raman Kalra, Managing Partner, PwC India, Ms. Jaya Mazumder, Chief Mentor and Corporate Stylist, Mindspace Consulting Consortium Group and Dr. Rishi Raj Singh, Director, Training (UEPA), NIESBUD.The International Delegates from more than 15 countries like USA, Germany, Egypt, Nambia, Romania, SriLanka, Kenya, UAE, Thailand, Ghana participated in the Conference.

Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, welcomed the Guests and emphasized that the demand of today’s world is novelty, creativity, and integration of knowledge at global level, research, critical and analytical thoughts and the conference would bring in constructive discussions regarding achieving sustainable strategical advantage. Dr Urvashi Makkar, in her inaugural address, very strongly highlighted the importance of continuously reinventing the business strategies, to be always ahead of the competitors and to avoid fading away. She said that, in emerging markets, growth opportunities exist and the business leaders are constantly working on finding out more innovative ways to strengthen competitive edge as well as sustain it.
The conference was endorsed by the insights of expert speakers like: His Excellency Alem Tsehaye Woldemariam who shared insightful experiences from India – Africa work culture, Mr Raman Kalra enthralled the audience with his powerful session where he discussed the importance of creating consumer loyalty and continuously renovate the strategies. The audience was left awe-struck with the story of success of MasterChef, Sidharth Talwar, who emphasized that there is no substitute to passion and hard work. Ms. Jaya Mazumder also extended her powerful session, in which she stressed on the fact that achieving sustainable advantage would become easier, if we follow our dreams. Dr. Rishi Raj Singh presented his views on being flexible and competitive at the same time and shared the importance of being furure ready & adaptive. He emphasized on the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister of developing a skilled India. Mr. Ashish Patel enlightened the audience with his immense knowledge about current global strategies, he discussed various business environmental challenges and the ways of adapting innovative business models. Mr. Dilip Raj presented the practical orientation of using business frameworks by breaking the myths and inculcate latest maxims in business, by the concept of design thinking. 

The Conference witnessed presence of renowned experts from corporate & academia and more than 100 research papers were presented in the technical sessions which brought together academicians, researchers, practitioners and research students from around the world to discuss how to achieve that balance between strategical innovations & sustainability of organizations. Conference Proceedings of ICASSA2k17 was released on this occasion, which has rich collection of 106 abstracts, from divergent set of academicians, professionals, research scholars and subject experts.
