GLBIMR organized Workshop on Consumer Behavior by Ms. Sumedha Chatterjee on March 14,2018
Accelerating the momentum of qualitative learning, GLBIMR, Greater Noida under the erudite leadership of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, organized a Workshop on “Consumer Behavior” on March 14, 2018. The Resource Person for the Workshop was Ms. Sumedha Chatterjee, Head – Marketing, BMJ (British Medical Journal). Mr. Vivek Kumar, Director General, BMJ ( British Medical Journal) was also a part of this session.
Dr. Makkar welcomed Ms. Sumedha Chatterjee and shared that the workshop was organized to apprise students on consumer behavior and make them aware about industry relevant practices for creating products that consumers love. During the session, Ms.Chatterjee discussed about Customer Profiling, Consumer Research, Industry Perspectives, Current Trends and Challenges in Consumer Behavior. She further explained how awareness, research and comparison purchase and retention have impacted the consumers’ choices globally. This workshop helped students to learn that how consumer behavior is changing with the advent of new customer acquisition channels and how strongly consumer behavior is integrated in organizational business decision making.
