Admission Cell of GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research. PGDM Institute, Greater Noida organized a Webinar on “Accelerate your Learning Curve for Rewarding Future" on Saturday, January 16, 2021 for the Final year graduates, fresh graduates and students aspiring for Masters Degree from pan India colleges under the patronage of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions. The resource persons for the webinar were Ms Pooja Malik, Consultant, LG Electronics, L&D Consultant - Uflex, Training Consultant, IFPA and Ms Aditi Dattatrey, HR Generalist India and APAC – Ciena & ICF Certified Coach.
The session started with an invocation to Goddess Saraswati. A brief introduction about GLBIMR and the PGDM program was shared with the participants. Dr Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR welcomed the guest speakers and highlighted the vision and mission of the institute. He also discussed the need for soft skills in the current scenario as companies had started to recognize the importance of soft skills such as critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
During the session, Ms Aditi Dattatrey discussed how to create the vision in life and also motivated the students to set their vision for a rewarding future. She further elaborated that the ability to create visions and set goals was essential for personal and professional growth. She encouraged them to develop the ability to turn their vision into reality. Ms Pooja Malik shared how to enhance the soft skills and the motive of life. She also discussed “Alvin E. Roth’s Theory of stable allocations and the practice of market design” and how to upgrade them.
About 60 students from different parts of the country participated in the webinar. This webinar covered the basics of career development, the things that could potentially help the graduate students in road mapping success. It also made the students aware of their future career prospects and prepared them for rewarding future keeping Covid scenario in mind. The resource persons also shared with the students the tips and tactics which would be helpful to crack the career development code.
