Workshop on “Internet Safety and Don't bully others”

MBA Department has conducted a workshop on “Internet Safety and Don't bully others” on 23rd August 2018. The Speaker for the event was Ms. Leena Gurg, President of JaagoTeens. Jaago Teens are an NGO that conducts internet safety workshops and helps to spread awareness regarding safe internet usage. So far they have successfully counselled over more than 70,000 students through more than 200 workshops.
Cyber bullying is on of the most rated crime teenagers and even young adults are committing. In a world of today where social media is more of a status than a platform it becomes difficult to cope up with peer pressure.
Ms. Leena Ma'am educated our students about the various crimes on the internet and also majorly discussed about the laws made for our safety. The students learnt about the many ways they can handle the challenges and also the acts that are made for their safety by our nation.

Clothes Distribution

Achievers CSR cell took an endearing initiative to help out the people in need. A few days back a fire broke out in a slum area near Gurugram which consumed numerous households. The underprivileged strata of our society already facing so many challenges and now another wrath of nature. On December 04, 2017 students of ACSR cell distributed clothes to the victims of that natural calamity. It may not compensate for their losses but it definitely brought a smile on their faces in such hard times.
