On completion of First Year of PGDM programme, every student has to undertake a Summer Internship. This Internship has been designed to give the student a full time exposure to the corporate world, to enable the student develop orientation to real life situations in industry. This internship is offered in organizations of repute with specific focus in areas of specialization of the student. The duration of the internship is of 6- 8 weeks. At the end of Summer Internship, a student has to submit Summer Project Report along with a certificate from the organization with whom he/she has done the Summer Internship. A major part of this internship is a Summer Project on a particular area related to his/her subjects of specialization involving in-depth empirical study by data collection through primary sources and analysis by application of statistical tools. This Summer Project is a detailed study of the organization and its functioning with particular focus on the areas of specialization

The Dissertation on an identified topic related to any one area of specialization of the student commences after Trimester V. This is a detailed study and is guided by the faculty mentor culminating in submission of the Dissertation in the Trimester VI.
