GLBIMR organized an Industrial Visit to Sperry Plast Limited

The GLBIMR.PGDM students of Batch 2022-24 had an Industrial Visit to Sperry Plast Limited on 16th July, 2022. The objective of this industrial visit was to give a practical exposure and the working protocols of the industry to students.
The Official of the company shared information about the production process, network, and marketing strategies of the company with the students. The company has 90% of monopoly of brush rubber. Recycling of scrap is done before proceeding to finished goods, recycling of 400 tons to 500 tons of plastic is done on monthly basis.
The Industrial Visit provided students with operational and management skills required for the manufacturing process of the company.

Industrial Visit- Mother Dairy

To kick-start the corporate journey and provide industrial exposure to its students, GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research.PGDM institute organised an Industrial Visit at Mother Dairy on July 04, 2022, for the newly admitted students of PGDM Batch 2022-24.
The visit provided the students with insights into the internal working protocols of factories especially in dairy industry and shared a practical perspective on the corporate world. Here, students learned how theoretical concepts are put into action. They were exposed to the real working environment and were shown how things are done following the principles of management.

GLBIMR organized an Industrial Visit consecutively at VARUN BEVERAGES

GLBIMR.PGDM Institute organized an Industrial Visit at VARUN BEVERAGES, Greater Noida for its PGDM Batch 2022-24, new entrants consecutively on day 2 i.e. July 06, 2022. The purpose of this industrial visit was to provide industrial exposure to PGDM students, know about the working protocols of industry and a practical perspective on the corporate world. Students got insight into how theoretical concepts are put into action. They were exposed to the real working environment and were shown how things are done following the principles of management.

Corporate Interface Series: Industry Visit @ Sulabh International.

29 students of PGDM Batch 2019–21, under GLBIMR’s Corporate Interface Series Program went for Industry visit to the Sulabh International Social Service Organization (SISSO), Sulabh Gram, Palam Dabri Road, New Delhi on September 06, 2019.
They were led by faculty incharge Dr. Dileep Singh. Students were taken to the unique Sulabh Toilet Museum by Sulabh officials - Mr. Mohan Kumar and Mr.Sudhir Mishra. They were briefed about the revolutionary two pit toilet model which requires only one litre of water to flush. They were also shown process of sanitary napkins making at Sulabh. Apart from these, students got an overview of the Sulabh bio- gas plant producing electricity as well as cooking gas used in kitchen. They also tried their hands on innovative Sulabh water ATM.
They were also explained in detail about various social initiatives taken by Sulabh such as medical and meal support for the widows at Vrindavan, operation of vocational training institute and Sulabh School affiliated to CBSE for under privileged children of scavengers.
At Sulabh International, students got an insight into the successful application of social business models which can have poverty reducing benefits if multinationals work with civil society organizations, cooperatives, local governments and local people to create a sustainable business models.

Corporate Interface Series: Industry Visit @ Amul, Faridabad.

Four teams (50 students each) of PGDM (Batch 2019–21) students, under GLBIMR’s Corporate Interface Series program visited the Amul (BANAS DAIRY) Plant in Faridabad. They were led by faculty members Ms. Sunita Chowdhury & Ms. Ritika Chauhan on September 02, 2019 and by Dr. Amit Kumar & Mr. Saurabh Mittal on September 03, 2019. Students groups were taken to the manufacturing facility visit by the AMUL plant engineer, Mr. Vivek Kumar. They were shown the complete process from milk collection to milk processing. Milk transportation facilities, product lines and milk supply chain were discussed in details. Students learnt about the quality assurance process followed by Amul at the various stages i.e. milk collection from farmers, pasteurization, post pasteurization, packaging, post packaging and then market delivery.
Students were also shown small videos about the inception of Amul company which happened as a result of collaboration of different cooperative societies at village and district levels of Gujarat. The students got an insight into the successful application of social business models which can have poverty reducing benefits if multinationals work with civil society organisations, cooperatives, local governments and local people to create new local business models.
Amul is a live example of C.K Prahalad’s theory of “Fortune at the bottom of the pyramid”, which proposed that “poor should not be looked as victims and instead should be considered as resilient and creative entrepreneurs as well as value-demanding consumers”.
Students enjoyed the refreshments and drinks (Lassi, Butter Milk and Ice-creams) from the Amul Company.

Industrial Visit by GLBIMR students to Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. , on August 10, 2019 under the strategic guidance of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR; the institute sends students to various industries with an aim to go beyond academics, as these visits provides students a practical perspective on the working environment. 47 students of PGDM batch 2019-2021 along with faculty member, Prof Ripudaman Gaur, GLBIMR visited the Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd., on August 10, 2019.
During the Industrial Visit, students of GLBIMR got the privilege to meet Mr. Pillai, who explained the future of dairy industries in India and also encouraged the students to explore multiple job opportunities available in dairy industry. Students visited the plant and observed the most complex logistic systems. The 12 step process of milk procurement to distribution was also understood.
It was a highly informative visit and students got the opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices.

Industrial Visit to Yamaha Motors Ltd

GLBIMR conducted Industrial Visit at Yamaha Motors Ltd on 30th August, 2018. With the impetus on corporate readiness, GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida organized an Industrial visit for the students of PGDM Batch 2017–19 at Yamaha Motors Ltd, Surajpur road on 30th August, 2018. This initiative was taken under the leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Director, GLBIMR with an aim to go beyond academics, as these industrial visits render the students a practical perspective on the working environment.

Industrial Visit to Safe Express

Industrial Visit to Safe Express, Manesar, Haryana. Under the strategic guidance of Director, to strengthen the Industry Academia Interface, 47 students of PGDM batch 2016-2018 along with faculty members of GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida visited the Safexpress Logistics Park, Manesar, Haryana on August 18, 2017.

Industrial Visit to Business World

In continuation to strengthen the Industry-Academia interface series, an Industry Visit to Business World was organized for PGDM 2016-18 Batch students on April 5 and 6,2017 under the guidance of Director, GLBIMR. The visit was highly informative as the students were given access to the Printing area of Business World, where the Business World IT team gave an insightful audio video presentation of the complete process of printing & publishing.

Under the strategic guidance of Director,GLBIMR; the institute sends students to various industries, with an aim to go beyond academics, as these visits provides students a practical perspective on the working environment. 43 students of PGDM batch 2017-2019 along with faculty member, Dr. Anand Rai, Associate professor, GLBIMR visited the Param Dairy, Khurja Bulandshahr on December 05, 2017. Param Dairy Limited is one of the reputed manufacturers and exporters of milk and milk products like Skimmed Milk Powder, Full Cream Milk Powder, Dairy Whitener, Milk Fat, Paneer, Liquid Milk and Desi Ghee.
