GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida was established in 2007 under the umbrella of GL Bajaj Group of Institutions. GLBIMR embarked on the journey to promote higher education in NCR. In a record time of 10 years, GLBIMR has demonstrated meteoric growth and has carved a distinct niche for itself in the field of management education.

GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida is a leading B-School of North India offering a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, a Two Years Full-Time Program with specialization in areas of Human Resource Manageent, Marketing, Finance and Information Technology.


OD Skill Development Academy Pvt. Ltd. (ODSDA), established in March 2015, is a six-year-old company in the area of leadership development, change management, and organization development. The company in April 2015 signed an agreement as a Training Partner of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, School of Vocational Education, Mumbai in Gurgaon, and has been its partner till 2019. This partnership evolved under a special initiative of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, in which it established the School of Vocational Education (SVE) in December 2011 to provide immediate and definite interventions to improve the lives of the disadvantaged and marginalized youth, especially who are excluded by the formal school education system, through appropriate vocational training programs. This project has been initiated under the aegis of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) proposed by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. In addition to the B.Voc programs, in 2016 and 2017, OD Skill Development Academy proposed through TISS-SVE a program on: “Use of Training Instruments in HRD & OD for Master Trainers in Forestry Sector” through OD Skill Development Academy, and the same was successfully organized by us from August 22-26, 2016 and from December 11 – 15, 2017 with an average weighted score of 8.53 out of 10. The program since then has been continuing to be awarded on Competency Assessment Profiling and Development to OD Skill Development Academy. In the years 2020 and 2021, it has been organized on an online basis. OD Skill Development Academy is developing a Bamboo Vision 2035 for Maharashtra Bamboo Development Board and is also designing a Bamboo-based industries Business Plan 2022, keeping in view its interests in Social Development sectors.

Rationale for GHRODC:

Human resources management plays a pivotal role in attaining organizational goals. It aims at developing a suitable set of practices for acquiring, training, compensating, engaging, and retaining employees. To navigate complex-people-centric challenges, it is incredibly important to reshape the current human resource and organization development practices. Considering human resources as the driving force across all economies, identification of a people-centric approach, new skills, and re-engineered HR processes are the need of the hour. Also, the pandemic has evolved the role of HR, which has fundamentally changed all the processes. Now, organizations and institutions need to understand the impact on workplace practices, well-being, and HRM in specific contexts. Also, employees gexpect the HR team to support them in quickly adapting to organizational policies and addressing concerns in order to engage employees and create synergy at the workplace. In other words, the role of HR has become multi-dimensional to tap and retain niche talent. The academia in collaboration with industry and government officials can come together and develop suitable HR and OD interventions, courses, certifications, publications, and competitions and facilitate overall HR processes by involving professionals and students who wish to pursue a career in the HR domain.

Objectives of GHRODC

The main objectives of GHRODC are as follows:

The practice:

GHRODC is an initiative of OD Skill Development Academy Pvt. Ltd. and GLBIMR for skill enhancement, competency building, and providing solutions to HR problems and issues in organizations, and institutions. It is a Center of Excellence, established in February 2022. To pursue the mission of lifelong learning for contributing to the cause of good governance, the center will be providing immediate and definite HR and OD interventions.
